  1. How do I book a party with McDonald's?

    Here’s a step-by-step guide to help you book a Party with us:

    • Step 1:
      Go to https://www.mcdonalds.com.my/parties and register an account with us.

    • Step 2:
      You may then proceed to book a party online by selecting the type of party and your preferred restaurant venue and date.

    • Step 3:
      Once your booking is confirmed, a representative from McDonald’s will be in contact with you within 2 days, to confirm your booking, booking details and any additional requests.

    • Step 4:
      To secure your booking, you will need to make payment of 50% deposit within 5 days of your booking date. Please visit your selected McDonald’s restaurant where the party will be held to make payment at the sales counter. You may collect the party invitation cards there too.

    • On the day of your party celebration, just turn up at the restaurant with your guests and enjoy the party!

  2. Why do I need to register and log in to book a party?

    Being an account user, you are able to check on your booking details or cancel the booking if necessary.

  3. How many days in advance do I have to book for a party?

    For online bookings, you will have to make a booking for your party at least 14 days in advance. However, if you wish to book for a party in less than 14 days, you can walk in to your preferred restaurant to book a party, subject to available slot(s). For example, if today is 1st August, you can only book a party online for 15th August onwards.

  4. My preferred restaurant does not have a party room. Can I still book a party?

    Yes, you can. We will cordon off a space in the restaurant to cater to your party. You will only need to indicate the number of guests for us to set up the party.

  5. What if I didn’t pay the deposit within 5 days of my booking date?

    Your booking will be cancelled by our restaurant and the slot will be released for others to reserve.

  6. After confirming my booking and paying the deposit, can I change the time and date of my party?

    No, once the online booking is confirmed, customers will not be able to change/edit the booking. Customers can cancel the current booking and place a new booking.

  7. I want to change the venue of the party but I have already confirmed my booking and paid the deposit. What should I do?

    Sorry, you are not able to change the venue of the party online once the booking and payment have been made. You can cancel the booking and book another one. The deposit is non-refundable. However, you can collect party packs/McDonald’s meals equal to deposit value from the restaurant.

  8. Can I cancel a booking and still get my deposit back?

    You can log in to your account to cancel your booking but the deposit is not refundable. However, you can collect party packs/McDonald’s meals equal to deposit value from the restaurant.

  9. If I have made a booking online but have not paid the deposit, can I still change the venue of the party?

    Once you have made a booking online, you cannot change the venue but you can cancel the booking and proceed to make a new booking.

  10. Can I pay for the party in cash on the day of the event?

    Yes, you can. We accept payment in cash, debit or credit card.

  11. Can I make payment for the booking online?

    Not at the moment. We are still working on providing more payment options, but for now, you will have to visit the selected McDonald's restaurant to make payment.

  12. What is the minimum headcount requirement for a party?

    There is a no minimum headcount required. However, there is a minimum spending of RM200 required to book a party.

  13. How many guests can attend the party?

    Ideally, about 10 - 20 pax but this will differ based on the venue.

  14. How long is the duration of the party?

    Party Package A: 1 hour 30 minutes
    Party Package B: 3 hours

  15. What do the party packs contain?

    There are a variety of party packs available for your party. You may visit www.mcdonalds.com.my/parties for more information.

  16. Can I order a birthday cake with McDonald’s?

    Yes, you can select your preferred cake option - Cheese or chocolate cake - upon making your online booking.

  17. Can I bring my own birthday cake?

    Yes, you can bring your own cake.

  18. Can I bring a clown / mascot / entertainer to the party?

    Sorry, you are not allowed to bring outside clowns / mascots / entertainers to the party. However, our party packages include mascot appearance (subject to availability).

  19. Do you organise birthday parties for adults at your restaurants?

    Yes, we do. You may select your choice of party upon making your online booking.

  20. What if there is a mix-up in my party arrangement? (E.g. wrong timing and restaurant location, double booking, etc)

    You can contact our Guest Relations Centre at 1300-13-1300 so that we can help to resolve the matter.
